Full-Time About Us The Root Therapy is an outpatient private practice dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care to individuals, families, and communities who need it most, with specific focus on reaching minority groups. Our mission is to reduce barriers to mental health treatment while fostering a collaborative and supportive clinical environment for our staff. Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who is passionate about direct client care and interested in developing into a leadership role. This role combines clinical service delivery , group therapy supervision , and leadership development within a growing nonprofit practice. The ideal candidate enjoys seeing patients, strengthening clinical programs, and helping support groups while maintaining an active therapy caseload. Key Responsibilities Clinical Services Maintain an active outpatient therapy caseload (individual, couples, and/or family therapy as appropriate) Conduct initial assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing documentation Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy Coordinate care with community providers when needed Group Therapy Leadership Oversee and supervise the development and facilitation of group therapy programs Provide clinical guidance and support to group facilitators Monitor quality, outcomes, and participant engagement Help expand group offerings based on community needs Clinical Leadership Development Participate in leadership meetings and program planning Assist with clinical policy development and quality improvement initiatives Collaborate with leadership on program expansion and service innovation This role is designed as a growth pathway toward a leadership position for the right candidate.
