About You Must Have Great oral and written communication skills Self-motivated and go-getter attitude Excellent customer service skills Be highly organized with an eye for details Ability to multitask Process orientation Be an enthusiastic team player Like to have fun Proof of adherence to CA state and local healthcare vaccination standards Nice-to-Have Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Mandarin Prior experience in retail, hospitality or other client-facing industry Experience in dermatology, aesthetics or skin care Understanding of healthcare insurance basics About the Role As a Metropolis Dermatology Patient Care Coordinator (Contact Center), your role is to ensure an exceptional patient experience by managing centralized contact center tasks necessary to care for our patients across all Metropolis Dermatology locations. Your core role is to answer phones, collect patient health, insurance and billing information, oversee patient scheduling across platforms, respond to and resolve patient messages. This role is on-site Mon-Fri and may transition to hybrid schedule after 3-6 months of positive performance. What You'll Do Answer phones and manage new patient appointment workflow, collecting necessary information and processing insurance verification Provide support as backup for all clinic calls, including established patients Leveraging knowledge of company operations to effectively answer general patient inquiries, including location-specific information Regularly communicate and collaborate with location-specific teams to manage patient care and work effectively in a team-based environment Oversee management of virtual visits across clinic locations Manage ZocDoc appointment flow including for new patient onboarding and insurance verification Manage timely response and resolution of patient messages across platforms (Klara, EMA, DialPad, email, etc) Ensure timely and accurate documentation within the EHR Other duties as assigned Go above and beyond for patients whenever possible Metropolis Dermatology Interview Process Submit resume and application. Virtual screening interview with hiring manager. On-site interviews with executive leadership and management team. Provide three (3) professional references. We are an e-Verify employer.
