Job Description

Remote Appeals Coordinator (Healthcare) - $20/hour ? Fully Remote (U.S. only - excluding
NY, CA, AK
) ? Full-Time | 40 hours/week | CST hours required We're hiring a detail-oriented Appeals Coordinator to support a healthcare team handling physical health appeals. If you have strong customer service skills, enjoy administrative work, and can manage multiple tasks, this is a great opportunity to grow within healthcare operations. What You'll Do Respond to inquiries from members, providers, and clinicians Process and route healthcare appeals to the appropriate teams Perform data entry, case updates, and documentation Conduct outbound calls to gather or clarify information Research appeal cases and communicate updates Support teams with case setup, tracking, and resolution Collaborate across departments to resolve issues What We're Looking For 1-2 years of college or 3+ years of related experience Customer service or member support experience Basic knowledge of medical terminology Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, databases) Excellent communication and organizational skills Schedule & Requirements Monday-Friday schedule (CST hours) Mandatory rotation: 3-4 holidays per year 1 weekend every 3rd weekend Must maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines #INDEPI #LI-PS1
