Job Description

This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states:
FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA

Job Summary and Qualifications The Point of Care Scheduling Manager is responsible for managing all activities related to day-to-day operations of the Point of Care ( PoC )/Bedside program. You will p erform associated processes when necessary to ensure targets and goals are met. You will e stablish and monitor QA audits, tracks, and trends performance and productivity by employee. The manager p rovides ongoing training and education. You a ssume responsibility for staffing, problem solving, and leading by example. The truest intent of PoC /Bedside scheduling is a bedside initiated patient experience, with the objectives of increased contact rate, scheduling immediacy, and improved overall patient experience. The manager will create and maintain a positive customer experience in a patient centered , quality driven environment. Ideal candidates will live in/around the Houston, TX metro area. Travel will be required approximately 25% of the time to visit sites within the Gulf Coast Division (Houston, TX; Austin/El Paso, TX; Kansas City, MO). In this role , you will: Assist AVP of Point of Care Scheduling in the oversight of the program. Effectively manage on-site staff while working remotely. Build and maintain relationships with the various stakeholders involved in the program. Perform site visits on a regular cadence and maximize time while on-site. Perform PoC scheduling functions when needed to ensure contact rates remain at goal . Ensure QA is performed on a sample of functions; maintain statistics and reports. Assist with development/creation/maintenance of education materials. Provide continuous training for and communicates changes to existing employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required . Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.
