The Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences partnership is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the team at the Detroit campus. This full-time role supports the partnership's philanthropy efforts. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive individual who can manage and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders. This role will support the planning and execution of high-impact donor events, preparing reports with analysis and insights for leadership, and helping interpret data to inform decision making. The ideal candidate brings strong project coordination skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities. Experience or familiarity with fundraising or development is preferred, including donor engagement, pipeline or portfolio support, and exposure to moves management or donor strategy. The position is based at Henry Ford Health in Detroit. It's a great opportunity for someone interested in supporting philanthropy initiatives that advance HF+MSU Health Sciences fundraising goals. Under light supervision, the Project Coordinator performs and/or manages project work across Henry Ford + MSU, coordinating activities among multiple participants and stakeholders. Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in working independently to complete projects and assignments. Maintains a high level of responsibility for completion of projects assigned. This position can perform duties in a hybrid work setting, with a blend of in-office and remote work schedule as determined by the supervisor. The primary office location is Henry Ford Health, Detroit, but may require occasional travel between Henry Ford locations and to Michigan State University, East Lansing, which will be considered the work location for that day and is not reimbursable mileage. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, design, and manage project plans and timelines. Responsible for leading and serving on cross-functional teams across the organization representing the partnership. Project coordination activities to ensure all process workflows are being handled within the established time parameters by both internal departments and outside stakeholders. Perform administrative follow-up by keeping track of major projects and tasks assigned. Provide support for the development, coordination, and execution of high-impact donor engagement efforts. Create and manage budgets related to projects, initiatives, and events, monitor spending. Design reports and distribute to appropriate parties. Create reports that include analysis and insights for leadership Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Serve as key contact between the partnership and other internal and external customers. Safeguard and protect confidential information. Other duties as requested. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree. One to three (1-3) years of project management/coordination experience preferred. Experience in event planning/management Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to prioritize assignments, work independently, and meet deadlines. Ability to pull, analyze and interpret data to inform decisions Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
