Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Temporary Scheduling Coordinator to join our ABA agency. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing appointment schedules, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring seamless communication between clinical staff and patients. Your energetic approach will help optimize clinic operations, improve patient experiences, and support overall administrative efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced healthcare environment while gaining valuable experience in medical scheduling and office management. Duties Schedule patient appointments accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Rethink, Outlook, Messaging. Coordinate with medical staff to optimize daily clinic workflows Review and update patient documentation Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Maintain organized filing of medical records, billing documents, and administrative files while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy Support front desk activities such as greeting patients, scheduling follow-ups, and managing appointment reminders Perform data entry tasks including 10-key typing and updating scheduling logs efficiently Experience Prior experience in medical office administration or clinic scheduling preferred Strong knowledge of EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or similar platforms Familiarity with medical terminology Experience with medical billing, insurance verification, and Medicare/Medicaid procedures is highly desirable Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and health information management software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft Demonstrated ability to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor for interacting with patients and healthcare providers Office management or clerical experience within a dental or medical clinic setting is advantageous Join us in this vital role where your organizational skills and healthcare knowledge will directly impact patient care delivery.
