Job Summary :
The Respiratory Manager coordinates and supervises the daily operations of the Respiratory Department to ensure the highest quality of service is given. The incumbent performs clinical evaluation of patients in all units and administers respiratory therapy as required. Supervises the instruction of new and existing staff, manages Human Resources, and performs other job-related duties as required.
Specifications :
Bachelors Degree in Applied Science or related field required with five to seven years experience in Respiratory Care, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have supervisory experience; one year neonatal experience highly desirable. Must have CRT; Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred, but Registry eligibility will be considered. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and fluency in the English language required.
