Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, development, and implementation of Nutrition Services including oral, enteral, and parenteral nutrition support for inpatients and nutrition education for outpatients and employees. Responsible for departmental quality assurance monitoring and reporting. Responsible for maintaining the CBORD Computerized Diet Office system. Supervises Clinical Dietitians and Dietary Assistants. Has direct care with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), registered by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND). Current licensure status with the Board of Dietetics for the State of South Carolina. Progressive, innovative individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. At least three years' clinical dietetics experience, preferable in an acute care facility. Preferred Qualifications Strong management and organizational skills with managerial experience preferred.
