Job Description

We are seeking a Practice Administrator to run day-to-day operations for a growing dermatology and cosmetic plastic surgery practice with an in-house, cash-based cosmetic OR. This is a true operations leadership role. You will own execution, staffing, scheduling, and throughput—especially around cosmetic OR days. This is not a front-desk manager or traditional office administrator role. For the right candidate, this role has a clear path to Director of Operations as the organization scales. What You'll Own
  • Daily operations for the Bluffton practice, including clinic and cosmetic OR
  • OR day execution: staffing, readiness, flow, and utilization
  • Staff scheduling and labor control (front desk, MAs, OR staff)
  • Cosmetic case readiness and coordination
  • Enforcing separation between dermatology workflows and cosmetic surgery
  • Hiring, onboarding, and performance management of non-provider staff
  • Tracking and improving KPIs (cases per OR day, revenue per OR day, staffing efficiency, patient flow)
  • Implementing and documenting SOPs for clinic and OR workflows What You Will Not Own
  • Clinical decision-making
  • Provider compensation models
  • Strategic growth decisions (M&A, new locations)
  • Final approval on major expenditures
Who We're Looking For Required:
  • 5+ years of healthcare operations experience
  • Experience managing staff, schedules, and daily execution
  • Comfort working directly with physicians or surgeons
  • Strong judgment and ability to make decisions independently
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort tracking
KPIs Strongly Preferred:
  • Experience in cosmetic surgery, dermatology, or surgical practices
  • Exposure to ORs, procedure suites, or ASCs
  • Track record of improving efficiency, throughput, or margins
  • Ambition to grow into a senior operations leadership role
Compensation & Growth Base Salary:
$75,000-$90,000 (based on experience)
Performance Bonus:
Tied to operational and OR utilization metrics
Growth Path:
