Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Team Member at Super Chix, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional dining experience for every guest! In this fast-paced, quick-service environment, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes customers, takes orders, and ensures their visit is memorable. Your culinary skills and customer service expertise will shine as you prepare delicious food, handle transactions efficiently, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry knowledge while working in a lively, team-oriented atmosphere. Duties Prepare high-quality menu items with attention to food safety and sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math skills for change calculations Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the dining area is inviting Follow food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Assist in food prep in the kitchen or café area, supporting culinary operations as needed Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as cashiering, serving, or food prep Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks required in restaurant settings Retail or grocery store experience can be beneficial for understanding inventory management and serving customers Join us at Super Chix where your energy fuels our success!
