Job Description

Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about helping children and families feel welcome? Our top-rated private pediatric dental practice is looking for a full-time Smile Coordinator to join our fun, fast-paced, and supportive team. We're searching for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude who enjoys creating a great experience for every patient and parent who walks through our doors.   • Schedule
  • Monday through Thursday, 7:50 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Some Fridays required
  • Approximately 35+ hours per week
  • Primary Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and families warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and excellent patient service experience
  • Verify insurance coverage, perform eligibility checks, and assist with insurance-related questions
  • Schedule appointments efficiently while managing multi-line phone systems and maintaining accurate clinic calendars
  • Collect patient information during intake procedures, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Support clinical staff by coordinating care plans and facilitating communication between patients and providers
  • Help create a fun, welcoming, and organized environment for children and families
  • Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and strong communication abilities
  • Previous dental, medical, or banking experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
  • Comfortable working with children and families in a busy pediatric setting
