Job Description

Position Summary The Lower Center Supervisor provides clinical guidance, support, and implementation for Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services delivered to children and families by Clinical Treatment Providers (CTP) in a therapeutic childcare center. The Lower Center Supervisor will lead a team of Clinical Treatment Providers and ensure that the lower arm of our childcare center delivers exceptional care and support to our young clients and their families. Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervises Lower Center classrooms consisting of 2-3 Clinical Treatment Providers and 8 - 12 children per room providing ongoing training, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure the team meets professional standards and personal growth objectives.
  • Reviews and approves Medicaid Clinical Notes daily and ensures all notes meet the quality and standards set by the organization in compliance with Medicaid RBHS.
  • Develop and implement staffing schedules and manage day-to-day operations of the Lower Center.
  • Collaborates with therapists and families to oversee the implementation of individualized care plans and goals for each child.
  • The LCS complies with A Child's Haven (ACH) Policies, SCDHHS- Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services Policies, Department of Social Services (DSS) Child Care Regulations, CARF and best practice standards.
  • Establishes strong relationships with children and their families offering support, guidance, and regular updates on progress.
  • Addresses and resolves any concerns or issues raised by families in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensures that the Lower Center complies with local, state, and federal regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Conducts regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Maintains accurate records for the Lower Center and team including incident reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Works collaboratively with Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor, Director of Therapeutic Learning, and classroom teams to assign children to CFT's and TCC classrooms.
  • Oversees the procurement and maintenance of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • The LCS fosters a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • The LCS joins weekly Clinical team meetings as needed and participates in any additional treatment/clinical meetings
  • The LCS works with the Clinical Supervisor to provide support, feedback, and direction to the Upper Program classroom teams
  • Facilitates interdepartmental collaboration, effective communication, and healthy conflict resolution
  • Maintains certified instructor status for First Aid/CPR and Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Manages and provides Individual and Family Psychotherapy to a caseload of 1 family
  • Represent ACH at community events, professional conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the organization and its services.
  • Builds and maintains partnerships with local agencies, schools, and other organizations to enhance program effectiveness and community outreach.
  • Adheres to federal HIPPA requirements
  • Some travel for meetings and training that could be overnight and flexibility to work outside of normal schedule
  • Handles special projects and other duties as requested
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
