Brookings Health System is seeking an Emergency Department Health Unit Coordinator to join our team to deliver the best possible care! Compensation range for this position is $16.24 to $24.04, depending on experience. Night shift differential included for any hours worked between 7 pm and 7 am. Job Type:
Full time, benefit eligible 36 hours per week This position combines clerical and customer service skills and requires an individual who is attentive to detail, has knowledge of medical terminology, and demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Registers emergency department (ED) patients in a timely and courteous manner. Assists with patient care under direct and indirect supervision of RN staff. Demonstrates an ability to use good judgment for maintaining confidentiality, solving problems and working well under stress.
