Exceptional Healthcare is building a new Community Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility bringing high-quality care to Rapid City and surrounding communities. Create a lasting first impression while providing vital administrative support as a Patient Access Manager. Lead patient access operations at our new hospital in Rapid City, SD! Manage the team that ensures seamless patient registration, insurance verification, and financial processes from admission to discharge. What You'll Do Oversee patient registration, insurance verification and authorizations Train and supervise front desk staff on proper procedures Ensure accurate collection of patient demographics and financial information Manage upfront collections of copayments, deductibles, and self-pay accounts Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Conduct quality assurance audits and performance improvement activities Schedule staff to maintain efficient front desk coverage Collaborate with clinical departments to resolve registration issues What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years insurance verification and benefits experience Knowledge of CMS and Medicaid programs Experience with HIPAA compliance and medical records management Previous hospital or medical office management experience Proficient in medical terminology and healthcare workflows Verifiable leadership experience in a customer-facing role Why Join Us Comprehensive health benefits and 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and supportive team environment Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend coverage Help select and build your front desk team Shape operations at a new healthcare facility Apply Today!
