Clinical Education Assistant-Simulation Manager

Job Description The Clinical Education Assistant supports the delivery of clinical skills and simulation-based education within the program. This position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating laboratory-based learning experiences, including physical examination laboratories, procedural skills labs, and simulation activities. The Clinical Education Assistant works closely with faculty to prepare instructional materials, maintain laboratory equipment and technology, and ensure that learning environments are properly organized and operational. This role is essential to supporting high-quality experiential learning for students
Required Qualifications Experience working in clinical education, healthcare simulation, laboratory environments, or healthcare settings Familiarity with medical equipment, simulation technology, or clinical training environments desirable. Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelors degree in a healthcare, education, simulation, or related field preferred

Job Duty
Job Duty . Coordinate and assist with all clinical laboratory learning activities, including physical examination labs, procedural skills training, and simulation experiences
Job Duty . Prepare laboratory spaces prior to scheduled learning sessions, including arranging equipment, supplies, task trainers, and simulation tools
Job Duty . Provide operational support during laboratory and simulation sessions as needed
Job Duty . Clean and reset laboratory spaces following instructional activities to ensure readiness for subsequent sessions
Job Duty . Maintain an organized inventory of all laboratory equipment, simulation devices, task trainers, and clinical supplies
Job Duty . Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance, repair, or replacement when necessary
Job Duty . Track usage of consumable supplies and assist with ordering and restocking laboratory materials
Job Duty . Maintain and troubleshoot classroom and laboratory technology used in skills training and simulation activities
Job Duty . Assist faculty with audiovisual equipment, simulation software, and other instructional technology used during laboratory instruction
Job Duty . Collaborate with faculty to prepare and implement clinical skills learning events, including assisting with logistics, materials preparation, and instructional setup
Job Duty . Support the development and execution of new laboratory learning activities and simulation exercises
Job Duty . Ensure laboratory spaces remain safe, organized, and compliant with institutional safety standards
Job Duty . Assist with scheduling and coordination of laboratory use
Job Duty . Provide general support to faculty and staff related to clinical skills instruction
Job Duty This position primarily works within clinical skills laboratories, simulation environments, and classroom settings supporting health professions education
