Job Description

Summit Medical Group at KPA Weisgarber is seeking an experienced nurse to join their passionate, authentic, and growing team. The ideal Clinic Supervisor will be overseeing the daily clinical functions of our pediatric clinic. This role will ensure efficient patient flow, and high-quality care are provided by the clinical nursing staff by implementing proper processes and procedures and following appropriate quality standards. This is a Full-Time Opportunity / working 4 days/week . Key responsibilities and required skills may include: Directly supervise clinical staff including nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to established clinical protocols and best practices in pediatric care. Manage clinic schedules, assigning staff to patient appointments and ensuring appropriate coverage throughout the day. Oversee inventory management of clinical supplies and equipment. Provide clinical guidance and support to staff regarding complex issues. i.e., Immunization Schedules, medication administration, Vaccines for Children Program. Identify staff training needs and implement appropriate protocols to maintain competency and enhance clinical skills. Participate in the hiring process and provide training for new clinical staff. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, include HIPAA and infection control guidelines, OSHA. Experience with the Vaccines for Children Program ran by the State of Tennessee. Computer literacy to navigate Microsoft Office, EMR, other applications and websites used daily as required by the role. Working knowledge of the AAP-Bright Futures Periodicity Schedule / Immunization Schedule. Working knowledge of an Electronic Medical Records system, i.e., Athena, Office Practicum, E Clinical, etc. Basic knowledge of Billing and Collections in a medical practice, sometimes referred to as Revenue Cycle Management. Adheres to the corporate compliance plan and policies. Strong sense of responsibility with attendance and punctuality. Thorough understanding of pediatric medical terminology and standardized testing in a pediatric practice.
Education:
High School Diploma required.
Required Experience:
Pediatric Practice nursing experience•
REQUIRED
(2 years minimum) Supervisory or Team Lead experience in a medical practice setting•
REQUIRED
(2 years minimum) Nursing License or current Certificate or Registration•
REQUIRED
