We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our patients, many of whom are commercial drivers and working professionals. We're looking for a well-spoken, energetic, and friendly front desk administrator & medical assistant who thrives in both clinical and administrative roles. You'll split your time between standard back-office clinical duties and front desk responsibilities . You'll be the first point of contact for many patients, setting the tone for a professional, welcoming experience, while also supporting our providers with clinical tasks that directly impact patient care. Responsibilities Check-in patients Verify insurance, use eCW EMR. Collect DOT Urine samples / Chain of Custody urine samples. Run onsite Breath Alcohol Testing Interview patients and document basic medical history. Schedule appointments. Update medical records and insurance reports. Arrange hospital and laboratory services. Assist during medical examinations. Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms. Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records. Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments. Requirements Proven working experience as a MA Knowledge of medical office systems Excellent time management skills The ability to multi-task Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Experience with urine drug screening, preferably certified. Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software Preferred knowledge in the EHR eClinicalWorks Degree or Diploma in medical assisting preferred but not required (depends on experience)
