- Rapid Access Coordinator I Knoxville, TN 37915 Starting at $17 - 23/hr (Based on Experience) Full-Time | Day Shift Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Rapid Access Coordinator I for Covenant EMS in Knoxville, TN! This is a great opportunity for candidates with dispatch, healthcare unit coordinator (HUC), patient scheduling, or healthcare coordination experience looking to grow within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This onsite role plays an important part in coordinating patient transportation and supporting hospital discharge operations. We are looking for dependable, organized, and detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a team environment and enjoy helping support patient care behind the scenes.
  • Schedule
  • Day Shift:
    7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Rotating weekends required (Initially every other weekend; subject to change as staffing expands)
  • What You'll Do
  • Coordinate and schedule patient transportation for Covenant IFT and Fort Sanders Regional discharges Communicate with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), healthcare teams, and transport staff Manage dispatch coordination and patient transport logistics Monitor scheduling updates and ensure timely transport services Maintain accurate documentation and patient information Provide professional and compassionate communication with healthcare staff and patients Support a fast-paced EMS and healthcare coordination environment •What We're Looking For•High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related field required Dispatch experience strongly preferred HUC (Health Unit Coordinator) experience preferred Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities •Why Join Adecco?
