Job Description

Overview We are looking for two candidates to join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Patient Coordinator and an Insurance Coordinator, where your energy and organizational skills will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences. In this engaging role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth clinic operations and seamless communication between patients, dental providers, and insurance companies. Your proactive approach will help foster a welcoming environment while managing essential administrative tasks with precision and care. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification using Eaglesoft. Schedule appointments accurately utilizing Eaglesoft software. Collect payments and manage billing procedures including CPT coding and documentation review Maintain meticulous medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality and data security Assist with intake procedures, updating patient information in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear information and scheduling support Qualifications Proven experience in dental office settings or healthcare administrative support with strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental coding practices Familiarity with Eaglesoft Ability to perform insurance verification, dental billing, CPT coding and documentation review accurately Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and typing skills (including 10 key typing) Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone and in person Previous clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with front desk operations and office management is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and health information management practices to ensure compliance and confidentiality Join us in creating a positive impact on patients' lives by providing outstanding administrative support in a fast-paced dental environment. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
