Schedule:
Tues-Fri, 4 days/week You must have dental office experience—specifically working with dental insurance—to be considered for this position. Every day, patients walk in worried about affording dental treatment. You'll help support our experienced Insurance Coordinator by keeping verifications, claims, and follow-up moving so patients have clear answers and our clinical team can stay focused on care. If you're organized, detail-driven, and comfortable working with insurance portals and documentation, this role is a great fit. What "insurance support" means to us Daily electronic benefit verification and accurate documentation of coverage details Assist with claim preparation and submission (CDT/ADA codes, narratives, attachments, X-rays/IO photos) Help prepare and track pre-determinations / pre-authorizations so nothing slips through the cracks Claim tracking and follow-up with carriers; document every step clearly in the software Support EOB/EFT/ERA organization and reconciliation (as trained) Assist with A/R follow-up, resends, and denied-claim documentation (as trained) Maintain compliance with HIPAA and support accurate recordkeeping You will not be asked to present or "close" treatment plans. We have a separate team member who handles treatment planning and financial arrangements. Must-have qualifications 2+ years dental office experience with dental insurance (specialty experience is a plus) Comfortable with payer portals, clearinghouses, and practice-management software (DSN experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced setting Professional phone etiquette and strong written documentation—every contact documented, every follow-up scheduled Team mindset: willing to learn our systems and support a high-performing insurance workflow
