CLINIC COORDINATOR FOR HIGHPOINT FAMILY WELLNESS WINCHESTER
Job Summary A Clinic Coordinator provides maintenance of the daily operations and general management of the practices. Allocating and assigning duties to employees, monitoring activities and operations of the Practice components. This position requires employee to be a licensed person, such as a LPN, Medical Assistant, Radiology Tech, Imaging Tech, etc. The Clinic Coordinator will also be required to function in their licensed capacity.

Medical Assistant:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred. If this position is filled by a
LPN:
Must be a graduate of a Practical Nursing Program. If this position is filled by a
Radiology Tech:
Associate’s degree in Radiology is required If this position is filled by an
Imaging Tech:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certification:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
Licenses:
If this position is filled by a Medical Assistant, must have & maintain current certification for a Medical Assistant. If this position is filled by a LPN, must have & maintain current LPN License If this position is filled by a Radiology Tech, must have & maintain current certification with ARRT. If this position is filled by an Imaging Tech, must have & maintain limited x-ray operation license or ARRT Essential Functions Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
