Working Title Part-Time Clinical Faculty (Supervisor) Communication Sciences & Disorders-CoHP 2026-2027 Location Rio Grande Valley, Texas Division/Organization Provost - Academic Affairs Appointment Period for Non-Tenure Position Tenure Status Non Tenure Track FTE Scope of Job The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally has the need to hire Part-Time Clinical Supervisors to Supervise in its Master of Communication Sciences and Disorders program. Responsibilities include delivering quality clinical instruction and supervision within the program. UTRGV faculty will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to scholarly work, student success and to advancing the university, college, and program missions and are committed to UTRGV's strategic plan, vision, mission, values and core priorities. (https://www.utrgv.edu/strategic-plan/introduction/index.htm) Minimum Qualifications Earned master's degree in communication sciences and Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Eligible for Texas Licensure Discipline Specific Required Qualifications Preferred Qualification Supervision experience with assistants and /or students. Experience in working effectively with faculty, staff and students from diverse ethnic cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Clinical experience with assessment and intervention with populations across the lifespan. Salary PT Clinical Supervisors are paid per course taught commensurate with experience and/or qualifications License or Certification Required?
