Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Patient Coordinator for our highly rated dental office with a friendly and dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, personable, adaptable, Self sufficient and willing to continuously learn. Spanish proficiency is a plus but not mandatory. Relevant experience is an advantage. This role is a transition role into an Office Manager role.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries and manage phone calls efficiently Collaborate with the clinical team to review and approve treatment plans Optimize productivity by efficiently scheduling appointments for both doctors and hygienists Ensure all patients have a confirmed doctor and hygiene appointment prior to closing out Verify accuracy of insurance estimates and submitted claims Interact with patients in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone Schedule and confirm appointments, educate patients on treatment plans and financial responsibilities Manage patient records, including data entry and billing procedures, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy Greet patients, provide a welcoming office experience and assist with any inquiries Collect payment and manage patient account information Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent minimum Experience with customer service or sales Must be able to multitask
