Job Description

About us We provide outpatient multimodal pain solutions including therapies and outpatient procedures with a team oriented approach in a friendly, fun, and fast paced work environment. We are looking for assistance with patient account coordinating and a person with interest in the health care industry. The successful candidate will be assisting with day to day clinical operations as well as working with fellow staff in a fast-paced clinic environment, acquiring pertinent information for billing, creating daily patient logs, managing referrals, scheduling appointments, organizing medical records and taking incoming calls. This candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to assist patients with medical issues. So past management or leadership experience is welcomed, but not required. Our Medical Assistant must be capable of creating comprehensive medical files, have an understanding of insurance and verifications, good communicative skills, and good organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Maintains a clean office environment. May occasionally assist with front desk or other duties as assigned by the supervising physician from time to time, however primarily clerical duties. Makes appointments, informs patients of office procedures and policies, and resolves problems when scheduling conflicts arise. May maintain medical records and enter data into data base or other software. Maintains patient files Handles phone calls using good customer service skills; makes appointments and confirms times.
