Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and medical staff, ensuring smooth communication, appointment scheduling, and patient support. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic medical environment, providing exceptional patient service and administrative support to enhance overall clinic operations. Duties Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently Collect and verify patient information and insurance details Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow and service delivery Handle phone inquiries, respond to patient questions, and provide general administrative support Assist with billing procedures and insurance processing as needed Ensure the clinic remains organized, clean, and compliant with health standards Experience Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable Experience providing medical administrative support or office experience is beneficial Dental office experience is a plus but not required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are necessary This role is integral to delivering high-quality patient service while supporting the efficient operation of our healthcare facility.
