This pivotal role ensures the delivery of comprehensive, patient-centered care across clinics and healthcare facilities. The Director oversees clinical operations, manages multidisciplinary teams, and drives initiatives to improve health outcomes while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. A dynamic leader with a passion for community health, the Director fosters a collaborative environment that promotes excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in primary care delivery. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to expand and enhance primary healthcare services, aligning with organizational goals and community needs. Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal resource utilization, and high-quality patient care. Lead and supervise multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and allied health professionals to foster a motivated and cohesive work environment. Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable service delivery. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), and other relevant standards. Oversee medical office management systems such as EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft to streamline clinical documentation and billing processes. Implement quality assurance programs focused on patient safety, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction through utilization management and continuous process improvement initiatives. Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to maintain a skilled workforce. Collaborate with external partners such as managed care organizations to optimize service delivery models and reimbursement strategies. Promote a patient-centered approach by integrating best practices in medical management, acute care, dental clinic experience where applicable, and medical administrative support. Skills Extensive experience in healthcare management with a strong background in primary care settings. Proven supervisory skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. Proficiency in medical office management software such VESTA Strong fiscal management skills encompassing budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with medical records management practices ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Familiarity with clinic operations including office management, practice management systems, and medical administrative support functions. Experience in managing healthcare quality standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and utilization management protocols. Ability to navigate managed care environments effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care.
BILINGUAL
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement across clinical teams, patients, vendors, and external partners. Background in nursing or acute/critical care is advantageous; veterinary or dental clinic experience is a plus but not required.
