JOB SUMMARY
The Administrator is responsible for all facility operations. The Administrator works closely and consults with medical and administrative staff to develop, implement, and maintain clinical programs that enhance quality of care and achieve a high level of patient and provider satisfaction. The Administrator will ensure full compliance to the TAC 25 Chapter 131 including any and all applicable state and federal law in application of and fulfillment of the required job duties. Ensures facility policies are followed and patient needs are met. The Board has the discretion to change or modify this job description and/or assign or reassign duties at any time with or without advanced notice. •
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for direction of staff. Supports and empowers staff to embrace the mission and value statements. Oversees the Pharmacy, Laboratory and Radiology efforts and complies with risk management/quality assurance, environment of care/life safety and infection control. Enforces and ensures compliance with all applicable state federal and local laws and requirements. Prepares schedule to maintain adequate staff levels that meet unit requirements. Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all levels. Acts as Safety Officer and ensures the building and properties are up to appropriate safety and cleanliness standards are well maintained. Maintains appropriate stock of supplies, medication, and disposable goods within the facility at all times. Leads the resolution of customer complaints and concerns by diffusing upset customers, offering service recovery when appropriate, providing action plans and staff education, and documenting per State guidelines. Creates a culture of exemplary customer service, leading by example, and providing constant mentoring and coaching to clinical staff. Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations. May be required to work outside of traditional work hours to meet the overall demands of the job and/or take calls after work hours. Assures complies with all policies and procedures as well as ensures that documentation meets current standards. Assists with the modification/development of policies and procedures, clinical and other related forms/documents to accommodate operation/required changes in accordance with local, State and Federal laws. Performs management activities including interviewing, evaluating, and termination of staff. Attends monthly meetings with the Administrative Team and Governing Board. Regular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position and require regular and punctual employee presence. These duties may also include "all other duties as assigned by the department supervisor and/or other member of management." •Marginal /
Non-essential Duties:
Daily operations of the facility including but not limited to: maintenance, inventory, housekeeping, linen services, and proper function of the utilities. •
Supervisory Responsibility:
Provides direct supervision to the front office manager/staff, MAs, LVNs, RNs, radiology personnel, pharmacy and their relative managers/supervisors. •Education and/or
Experience:
Masters in healthcare administration or MBA with healthcare management experience or equivalent. Doctorate degree in Healthcare Administration is a plus. Management experience of at least 2-4 years over a team of 3-5 people minimum. •
Skills Required:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent judgement skills. Strong leadership skills. Detail oriented with exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work all shifts including day, evening, and weekend hours as needed. Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA standards and requirements. Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology. Ability to work independently and in a public or clinic setting using sound judgement in a high-pressure environment while maintaining excellent patient care and customer service. Strong team player. Demonstrated knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide clinical and administrative support. Polite and professional demeanor. Possess fundamental knowledge of the principles of administration and personnel management. •

Must be able to bend, lift, twist, and/or stand/walk for up to 12 hours daily.
