Background:
Healthcare Business Development, Medical Sales, Community Outreach, Transportation Services AWT is seeking a Healthcare Partnerships Manager to expand our client network by securing transportation contracts with healthcare facilities and referral partners. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong healthcare industry connections who can open doors, build strategic relationships, and generate new business opportunities. Responsibilities Develop and secure partnerships with nursing homes, rehab centers, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and dialysis centers. Build relationships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, facility administrators, and other key decision-makers. Drive contract acquisition for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services. Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, outreach, and relationship-building efforts. Present transportation solutions that meet the needs of healthcare facilities and patients. Negotiate agreements and successfully close new business opportunities. Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular updates on business development activities. Identify market opportunities and support initiatives that drive revenue growth. Represent AWT at healthcare events, networking functions, and industry engagements. Explore opportunities to establish transportation partnerships with corporate organizations. Achieve and exceed business development targets. Requirements Minimum of 2+ years of experience in healthcare business development, medical sales, healthcare outreach, or a related field. Demonstrated success in securing contracts, partnerships, or referral relationships. Existing relationships with healthcare facilities and healthcare professionals are highly preferred. Experience in roles such as Clinical Liaison, Community Liaison, Medical Sales Representative, Patient Coordinator, Admissions Coordinator, Hospital Outreach Coordinator, or Healthcare Account Executive. Strong understanding of patient referrals, discharge planning, and healthcare coordination processes. Excellent communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently. Experience in NEMT, patient transportation, logistics, or related industries is an advantage. Must be based in the Dallas / DFW area.
