As a Patient Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and seamless experience from appointment scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Greeting patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor on the phone Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient appointments with healthcare providers Verifying patient information and insurance coverage, some insurance authorizations Answering phone calls from referred patients and referring providers Act as a liaison between clinician and patient. Enter all referral patients into the patient records system. Collect patient's insurance information prior to their scheduled appointment. Ensure the patient's insurance eligibility is accurate. Ensure necessary radiographs are present. Connect with all unscheduled referral patients within 2 days of receiving referral
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records ( Nextgen systems is a plus) Performs job duties with a positive attitude and dedication to working hard. Outgoing Ability to mutlitask

FT Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
