Job Description

Dental Floater (Front Office & Clinical Support) Our growing general dental practice is seeking a Dental Floater to support both the front office and clinical team. This is a cross-trained position for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to step in wherever help is needed. What You'll Do As a Dental Floater, you will move between the front office and the clinical area throughout the day to help keep the practice running smoothly. Front Office Support Answer phones and assist patients Schedule and confirm appointments Check patients in and out Verify insurance benefits Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental Clinical Support Turn over and stock operatories Sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization logs Escort and seat patients Take radiographs (if certified) Assist the clinical team as needed Help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Qualifications Dental office experience required Experience in both front office and clinical duties preferred Open Dental experience preferred Knowledge of dental insurance is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Team-player mentality with a willingness to jump in where needed Valid RDA license is required What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is comfortable working both front and back Adapts quickly to changing priorities Enjoys helping teammates Provides excellent customer service Takes initiative and stays productive during downtime
Schedule:
Part-Time, 2 Days per Week -- Wednesday and Thursday and 1
Saturday/month Compensation:
Based on experience.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
