At Inovi Fertility & Genetics Institute, we've built something intentionally different in Houston—a boutique fertility clinic where advanced reproductive science meets deeply personal, compassionate care. Every detail of our patient journey is designed with purpose, and as we continue to grow, we're looking for a Senior Financial Services Coordinator to help shape the experience behind the scenes. This isn't just about numbers—it's about clarity, trust, and guiding patients through one of the most meaningful investments of their lives with confidence and care. What you'll do... Think of this role as the steady guide through the financial side of a complex, emotional journey. Provide financial counseling to patients, helping them understand costs, coverage, and available options Review daily schedules to ensure every patient is financially prepared before starting treatment Partner closely with clinical teams to align treatment plans with financial expectations Oversee insurance authorizations and confirm financial clearance prior to procedures Monitor accounts, collect patient payments, follow up on balances and create manageable payment plans for patients Respond promptly to patient questions related to billing, insurance, and financial policies Ensure claims are accurate and compliant with current ICD-10 and CPT coding, and submitted to billing team in a timely fashion Continuously refine billing and collection processes for efficiency and accuracy Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA Must be proficient in spoken and written Spanish, demonstrating the ability to conduct complete financial consultations in Spanish What you bring... You're equal parts expert and advisor—analytical, organized, and able to create trust in moments that require both clarity and empathy. Proven experience as a financial coordinator within a medical practice (3+ years required) Strong understanding of insurance billing, managed care contracts, and coding (ICD-10 & CPT) Ability to confidently guide patients through financial discussions with empathy and transparency Experience handling insurance claims, denials, authorizations, and collections A sharp eye for detail with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills—clear, concise, and calm under pressure Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office (QuickBooks a plus) Background in women's healthcare or fertility services is a plus Leadership & impact Supervise and support Front Desk & Patient Services team members Lead by example—bringing consistency, sound judgment, and a calm, solutions-oriented mindset Act as a trusted resource for both patients and internal teams The rhythm of the role Full-time Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays What you'll enjoy Competitive salary aligned with your experience Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off Making a difference in patient lives!
