Job Description

Allied Digestive Disease Center of Houston, a single site, independent gastroenterology (GI) private practice is seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Administrator to lead our GI clinic. The Practice Administrator will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth, delivering operational excellence, and ensuring top-notch patient care.
Responsibilities:
Practice Growth And Expansion:
Develop and implement strategies for practice growth, including expansion plans, market analysis, and referral network development. Collaborate with physicians to identify new avenues or specialties that align with the clinic's goals. Establish and maintain relationships with referring physicians, medical groups, and hospitals to increase patient referrals. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient volume, revenue, and market share, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve growth goals.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee billing and revenue cycle management, ensuring accurate coding and billing practices. Recruit, train, and manage administrative and clinical team. Optimize scheduling and appointment management for efficient patient flow. Ensure the smooth operation of the office. Stay current with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring the clinic's operations are always in accordance with industry standards and guidelines.

Qualifications And Skills Required:
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in Gastroenterology. Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, regulations, and compliance. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
