HearNow ENT Irving, TX Job Details Full-time $15 - $18 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Spanish High school diploma or GED Typing Full Job Description Job Summary The Front Office Medical Receptionist/Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent patient care. This role involves overseeing administrative tasks, patient scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate health records while supporting physicians, clinical staff, and patients. Fluency in Spanish is required . Key Responsibilities Administrative & Front Desk Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner. Answer and route phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly. Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments. Register new patients, verify demographics, and maintain accurate files. Patient Records & Documentation Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR). Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies. Prepare, organize, and maintain medical charts, forms, and reports. Process requests for medical records, referrals, and authorizations. Billing & Insurance Verify insurance eligibility and patient coverage. Collect co-pays, process billing, and manage patient balances. Assist patients with billing questions and payment arrangements. Office Operations & Compliance Oversee office workflow and daily operations. Order and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory for the back office. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and healthcare regulations. Communication & Customer Service Act as liaison between patients, providers, pharmacies, and labs. Provide patients with clear instructions and information. Handle patient concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy. Foster a supportive and efficient work environment.
Translating Experience and requirements:
Fluency in Spanish is required to assist with patient communication and appointment coordination for patients who speak only Spanish. High school diploma or GED required Availability to commute to other satellite clinics in Irving and Plano Strong computer and typing skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and attitude Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., ModMed, Epic, Athena) is a plus

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
