Medical Receptionist Location:

Part-Time (24+ hours per week)
Pay:

Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Receptionist to join our Las Colinas team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting daily clinic operations. This position combines patient scheduling, front office management, administrative support, and reporting responsibilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys interacting with patients, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred, and a Medical Assistant background is considered a strong plus. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience from check-in to check-out
  • Schedule appointments and maintain provider calendars
  • Answer incoming phone calls, text messages, emails, and patient inquiries
  • Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Assist patients with intake forms and required documentation
  • Process patient payments and maintain financial records as needed
  • Maintain electronic records and filing systems in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Prepare reports, track clinic metrics, and perform spreadsheet-based administrative tasks
  • Utilize Google Sheets, Excel, Google Workspace, DocuSign, and other office software
  • Assist with office organization, inventory management, and supply ordering
  • Support patient engagement initiatives, social media content, and community outreach efforts
  • Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure efficient clinic operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical front office, receptionist, administrative assistant, patient coordinator, or healthcare support role
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Successful completion of a background check Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant certification or previous Medical Assistant experience
  • Experience in a healthcare, wellness, concierge medicine, or medical practice setting
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
  • Experience supporting patient engagement, marketing, or social media initiatives
  • Associate degree or higher in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field Schedule
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Day Shift
  • Minimum 24 hours per week
  • Additional hours may be available based on clinic needs Compensation & Benefits
