00 per hour (Based on Experience) Become the Voice of a Growing Primary Care Practice SteadFast Primary Care is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organized Medical Receptionist to join our team in Katy, Texas. This is a key position within our practice and is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing outstanding customer service, enjoys helping patients, and can confidently manage a busy multi-provider Primary Care office. As the primary point of contact for many of our patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive prompt, professional service while helping maintain efficient provider schedules and smooth daily operations. We are looking for a dependable team member who is seeking a long-term opportunity with a growing physician-owned practice and who wants to contribute to the success of both our patients and our organization. Key Responsibilities Answer and manage a high volume of incoming patient calls professionally and efficiently Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments across multiple providers and clinic locations Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, referrals, insurance participation, and office policies Accurately document patient communications within the EMR Monitor voicemail messages and ensure timely follow-up Coordinate patient scheduling to maximize provider productivity and minimize scheduling gaps Assist with patient check-in and front office operations when needed Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times Work collaboratively with providers, medical assistants, and office management to ensure excellent patient care Qualifications Required Fluent in both English and Spanish Minimum 2 years of recent medical office experience Minimum 2 years of experience handling high-volume inbound phone calls Strong computer and EMR skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred Primary Care or Family Practice experience Knowledge of insurance plans, referrals, and prior authorizations Experience with Tebra an advantage Experience scheduling for multiple providers What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly and compassionate with patients Calm under pressure Highly organized and detail-oriented Able to multitask without sacrificing accuracy Comfortable handling difficult conversations professionally Self-motivated and able to work independently Committed to providing exceptional customer service Why Join SteadFast Primary Care?
