Reporting to a seasoned Director of Peri-operative Services with executive sponsorship from nursing, quality, and operations, the Operating Room Nurse Manager partners closely with anesthesia, surgeons, sterile processing, supply chain, and perioperative business analytics. Scope includes daily OR throughput, block and case scheduling, staffing and productivity, budget stewardship, preference card optimization, regulatory readiness, infection prevention, turnover-time initiatives, onboarding and competency validation, and continuous improvement projects that boost patient safety and surgeon satisfaction. The Nurse Manager of Operating Room is supported by experienced charge nurses, service line coordinators, clinical educators, informatics specialists, and a friendly, diverse team of RNs, surgical technologists, anesthetists, and allied health professionals who value collaboration, respect, and shared wins.
