Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Front Office Manager to lead the administrative operations of a busy medical clinic. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily functions, exceptional patient service, and efficient management of clinical and administrative staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive medical office experience, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management systems. You will oversee front desk operations, coordinate with medical personnel, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. Your energetic approach will foster a welcoming environment that promotes excellent patient care and operational excellence. Duties Manage all front office activities including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and billing processes using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Dentrix. Supervise administrative staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery. Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing accuracy, and managing practice expenses to optimize revenue streams. Coordinate with medical providers to ensure efficient clinic flow, including managing patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Facilitate communication between clinical teams, patients, insurance companies, and external vendors to streamline processes like utilization management and insurance claims processing. Maintain a welcoming environment by overseeing patient inquiries, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring the clinic operates smoothly during all hours of operation. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting. Strong supervisory skills with experience leading administrative or nursing teams in acute care or hospital environments. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix or similar platforms; familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards including JCAHO accreditation processes. Demonstrated fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, billing oversight, and resource allocation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
