Job Description

As a Therapist , you'll have the opportunity to work closely with residential children and adolescent patients with emotional, behavioral, and neurobehavioral problems, providing personalized therapy sessions and family support to help them achieve their goals. You'll also lead group therapy sessions and collaborate with our multidisciplinary treatment team to develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
Your Impact:
Manage a caseload of up to 11 patients and provide individual and family therapy sessions once per week for each patient Lead 2-3 psychoeducation, issue or process groups per week Manage case management responsibilities, including discharge planning and aftercare dispositions Serve as a liaison between the treatment team and families/community stakeholders Submit timely and complete documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans Complete psychosocial and other clinical assessments Participate in weekly treatment team staffings and team meetings Coordinate and communicate service delivery with internal departments
What You'll Bring:
Current State of Texas license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A Effective interpersonal skills and competent clinical skills Collaborative, positive attitude and strong work ethic Preferred requirements: Two years post-licensure experience, advanced training or certification in an evidence-based practice, one year of clinical experience in an RTC setting, and one year of group facilitation experience
