Job Description

Lubbock County, Texas Lubbock, TX Elections Administrator Hiring range: $95,000 to $115,000 The county offers excellent benefits.

Lubbock County, TX, is seeking an Elections Administrator to lead its Elections Department and ensure secure, transparent, and legally compliant election processes. Located in the heart of West Texas, Lubbock County is a vibrant and growing region known for its welcoming spirit, strong sense of community, and high quality of life. As the economic and cultural hub of the South Plains, the County offers a unique blend of urban amenities and small-town charm, with wide open spaces, affordable living, and a thriving arts, music, and culinary scene. Appointed by the Lubbock County Election Commission and reporting to the County Judge, the Elections Administrator is responsible for leading and managing all operations of the Lubbock County Elections Department. This includes oversight of budget, personnel, election systems, and departmental resources, as well as ensuring efficient and secure election processes. The role ensures full compliance with all applicable state and federal election laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, while fostering transparency, integrity, and public trust in the electoral process.
