Job Description

Chiropractic Practice is seeking cheerful, energetic team player with strong multi-tasking and customer service skills to join our team!! Our office is high-volume and fast-paced, and our front office admin coordinator is key in insuring an efficient and effective practice that is focused on patient care.
THIS JOB NEEDS SOMEONE WHO CAN
MULTI-TASK, is DETAIL and
PROCESS- ORIENTED!
Pay is based on experience and training progress and somewhat flexible to start. Please note that we are small medical practice and do NOT have insurance or retirement benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous, professional and helpful manner Active patient management: phones, patient check-in/out, texts, emails Setting up new patient files Insurance verification Explaining insurance benefits Maintaining accurate and current patient health records Updating/Auditing patient files Pre-certifications and patient referrals Providing account statements and various patient requested information Working alongside Clinical Coordinator with reporting, records, and various administrative Scheduling & rescheduling patients for doctor and massage therapists Supporting doctor with patient therapies (as needed) Following up with patients (as needed) Patient correspondence Adhere to HIPAA and all other applicable federal and state mandates Assist in other office tasks as requested/needed

" for our office is defined as: Monday & Wednesday 8:45-12:15/1:30-7pm || Tuesday 9-12/ 1:30pm-6pm || Thursdays - CLOSESD || Friday 8:45-12:15/1:30-6pm || Rarely, but some Saturdays 9am-11am
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent (additional education & certifications a plus!) Excellent customer service abilities Positive attitude Dependability Strong interpersonal skills Attention to detail with great organizational skills Good problem solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment (IMPORTANT) Strong communication (reading, writing & verbal) skills Proficient knowledge of computers and office software/applications Able to LEARN new software platforms Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Professional appearance and manner Prior medical office experience and insurance knowledge a plus, but not required
