Patient and Treatment Coordinator DFW Dental Mesquite, TX Job Details Part-time | Per diem From $19 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Collaborate with healthcare professionals Medical law Overseeing care coordination Attention to detail Patient care Dental office experience Full Job Description We are currently seeking a Patient/Treatment Coordinator to join our team On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays w/ option for additional days in the future. They will assist with the coordination of patient care, ensuring that all necessary dental details are entered into the system accurately. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is detail oriented and has strong communication skills. The individual must be capable of handling a large amount of work in a high-pressure environment, and must always plan ahead with backup plans in case complications arise.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the treatment plans of patients in the clinic, consults with healthcare professionals, communicates with patients to establish care standards and goals. Study medical, mental, and physical conditions of patients in order to establish plans aimed to alleviate symptoms and help patients improve their health. Coordinate treatment plans between healthcare professionals, such as physicians and specialized therapists. Review data from tests and monitor the health condition of patients. Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans and schedules, recommends medications as well as describes their side effects for patients who are taking them. Keep up-to-date with changes in healthcare laws and regulations.
