Job Description

Job Overview Home Helpers Home Care of New Braunfels is seeking an experienced and compassionate LVN Care Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys educating caregivers, working closely with people, and supporting quality care in a non-medical home care environment. While this role requires an LVN background and experience, the individual will not be practicing under their nursing license due to the agency's non-medical licensure. The LVN Care Manager will be responsible for overseeing caregiver care plans, providing caregiver support and education, assisting with in-service training, and helping ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality non-medical care services. Responsibilities Manage and oversee caregiver care plans for non-medical home care clients. Conduct caregiver orientations, training, and ongoing in-service education. Provide guidance and support to caregivers regarding client needs and care expectations. Monitor caregiver performance and assist with quality assurance initiatives. Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff. Assist with updating client documentation and care instructions. Support daily agency operations and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. Help foster a positive, team-oriented work environment. Participate in caregiver coaching and mentoring. Qualifications LVN background and experience preferred. Understanding that nursing duties cannot be performed under the agency's non-medical license. Previous experience in home care, caregiving, staffing, or care coordination preferred. Experience with caregiver education or training strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Compassionate personality with a passion for helping others. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when needed. Knowledge of how a home care agency operates is preferred.
