Job Description

Job description This position coordinates and schedule surgeries and post-op appointment for the physicians at the clinic. Perform pre-operative and post operative data entry, gives information to patients in regards care before and after surgery. Assist with the coordination of the daily surgery schedule, inter and intra departmental communication, initiating communication with insurances, intended to facilitate the flow of surgical patients.
Qualifications:
Must possess excellent time management and organization skills and ability to prioritize. Ability to work under pressure Reliability and punctuality 3+ years experience in surgery scheduling or related medical field desired (Required). Team Player Communicates with surgical team ( anesthesia, hospital, vendors, and IOM) in regards to schedule EMR - Athena/Meditech / Epic Google Documents Bilingual a plus ( Spanish )
