Job description Patients coordinators at Longhorn Imaging are the first face patients see when coming into our clinics. They will be responsible for greeting patients, collecting necessary information for charting, and working through a predetermined schedule of appointments for diagnostic Imaging. Our goal is to provide excellent patient care to ease the stress and anxiety of medical appointments.
Schedule :
M - F 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet patients and guests, determine the nature of their visit and provide accurate information. Assist patients with the check in process and gather necessary information for patient charts Prepares and maintains accurate and confidential information for new and existing patients. Verifies patient identity, maintaining up to date patient information such as address and billing information. Collects and processes all payments received from patient exams, this includes Health Insurance or Self Pay options. Works with all technologists to improve patient experience and flow within the clinic, this includes communicating with about possible schedule conflicts that may arise. Keeps the waiting room, restrooms, and general clerical space clean and neat at all times
