Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Medical Staff Peer Review Coordinator supports the Medical Staff Quality Program by coordinating data collection, analysis, and reporting for physician and advanced practice provider performance. This role ensures compliance with the hospital accrediting standards related to Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE), and peer review processes to promote safe, high-quality patient care.
Education:
Holds a current Texas license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Training and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience Experience in peer review, quality, regulatory compliance, or performance improvement preferred.
Job Knowledge:
Working knowledge of peer review processes, OPPE/FPPE requirements, and applicable DNV and CMS standards. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and experience with data tracking and reporting tools. Ability to analyze, trend, and validate data with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality in a professional healthcare environment.

Full Time, Day Shift, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
