Dental Receptionist - New Patient Coordinator Dental Implant and Perio Partners We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist/New Patient Coordinator to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our practice. At our office, every team member contributes to delivering exceptional patient care. This position is integral to ensuring efficient workflows, seamless patient communication, and a positive experience from the first phone call through treatment. Schedule:
Full Time, M/W 7:30am-5:00pm, T/TH 7:30am-4:00pm and Fri 7:30am-12:00pm
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned
Qualifications:
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of dental front office experience Preferred Skills Dentrix experience is preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Experience with dental practice management software Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
