The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Clinical Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the clinical department, ensuring that all patient care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Clinical Manager in managing the clinical department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting. Schedules and appropriately documents patients schedules in a timely manner. Participates in coordinating care with management and patient interdisciplinary team. Provides effective communication to patients, staff members, other healthcare professionals, and referral sources. Responds to Agency and patient needs in a professional and creative manner.  Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency. Promotes the Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care. Reaches out to and follows up with doctor offices in regard to patient care. Manages the flow of patient care. Review and process clinical reviews. Communicates with the pre-authorization team. Discharge patients from care under the direction of the Clinical Manager. Send lab referrals to the approved destination.
Requirements:
Current and valid LVN license in the state of Texas Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience Previous experience in a leadership or management role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders Job Requirements Valid LVN License Previous experience in a Home Health setting Experience with Kinnser/Wellsky EMR
