Job Description

Job Overview Regional Plastic Surgery is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinic Manager LVN/Certified Medical Assistant to lead our healthcare team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily clinical operations, coordinate patient services, and manage a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive medical knowledge, and experience working across various healthcare settings, including hand-surgery as well as plastic and reconstructive surgery. Your proactive approach will help streamline clinic workflows, uphold compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff alike. Minimum of 5 years previous experience required.
Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care within scope
  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient concerns
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments, and surgery plans
  • Administer or prepare medications and injections
  • Perform point-of-care duties (bandaging, remove stitches, drains etc.)
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
  • Maintain infection control and safety protocols
  • Educate patients on medications, treatments, and surgery plans
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and compassionate care
  • Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and follow-ups
  • Coordinate care with labs, pharmacies, and specialists, and staff
  • Ensure patient satisfaction and smooth visit experience
Management Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support clinical staff (MA's, and front office and surgical coordinators)
  • Provide training, on-boarding, and ongoing mentorship to team members
  • Oversee daily clinic flow and ensure efficient patient care throughout
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor staff performance
  • Serve as a point of contact for clinical questions and problem-solving
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and coverage
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Communicate effectively with providers, administration, and staff
  • Address patient concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, OSHA, HIPAA, TMB and regulatory standards
  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives and workflow optimization
  • Monitor inventory of medical supplies and coordinate ordering
  • Contact property manager regarding building related problems.
Qualifications:
  • Active LVN license or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA)
  • Prior leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience with EMR systems
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • NCT Licensed or willing to train to obtain (training must be completed by 60 days of start date, classes are paid by providers)
  • Coding knowledgeable and willing to learn.

From $25.00 per hour
