Job Description

Job Summary The Supervisor of Experience Advocates is responsible for overseeing a team of Experience Advocates, ensuring they provide excellent service to patients, their families and Shannon Team Members. This role focuses on coaching and supporting the team to effectively respond to inquiries, oversee scheduling and paperwork, provide information and updates, and serve as primary representative for the Advocates. The Supervisor will also oversee the resolution of patient concerns, including complaints, grievances, compliments, and suggestions, while maintaining high standards of patient satisfaction. Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Preferred Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
Required Three years of healthcare or service experience Preferred Proven experience in a customer service or patient-facing role, with a minimum of two years in a leadership or supervisory capacity. Knowledge of inner workings of the hospital or Shannon, Shannon Policies, and key personnel Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills- appropriately created for and delivered to a wide variety of audiences (clinical, business, legal, etc.) Training in conflict resolution or patient experience management. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, patient confidentiality, and patient experience best practices is preferred. Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
