Clinical Operations Manager The Clinical Operations Manager supports the delivery of quality clinical services through operational oversight, compliance monitoring, staff development, and program support activities. This position assists with quality assurance initiatives, clinical training, program development, auditing activities, and operational improvement efforts to help ensure services are delivered in accordance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices. The Clinical Operations Manager serves as a resource to leadership teams, clinical staff, and organizational partners by conducting compliance reviews, supporting training initiatives, completing Level of Care Assessments, participating in on-call crisis support, and assisting with the development and maintenance of clinical programs and resources. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the implementation and ongoing operation of clinical programs and services. Assist with the development, implementation, and standardization of clinical processes, workflows, and programming. Provide consultation regarding documentation standards, clinical best practices, and operational processes. Serve as a clinical resource to leadership teams, affiliated programs, and organizational partners. Conduct Level of Care Assessments and collaborate with admissions and clinical teams regarding service recommendations and placement decisions. Provide direct clinical services as assigned, including outpatient individual therapy, group facilitation, and clinical coverage to support program and organizational needs. Conduct chart audits, compliance reviews, and site inspections. Monitor compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, licensing requirements, and documentation expectations. Assist with corrective action planning and follow-up activities related to compliance findings. Support readiness efforts for audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews. Facilitate clinical onboarding, training, and staff development activities. Develop and update training materials, clinical resources, and curriculum content. Assist with ongoing program development and continuous improvement efforts. Provide clinical consultation and operational support to affiliated programs, partners, or franchise locations as assigned. Participate in designated on-call rotations and provide support during crisis situations and critical incidents. Assist with incident reviews and follow-up activities as needed. Assist with the development and revision of policies, procedures, forms, and clinical resources. Maintain records related to audits, training activities, assessments, and compliance initiatives. Prepare reports and summaries as requested by leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. Competencies:
Knowledge of behavioral healthcare operations and clinical service delivery. Understanding of accreditation standards, licensing requirements, and documentation expectations. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to conduct audits, identify deficiencies, and support corrective action efforts. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to facilitate training and provide constructive feedback. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality improvement. Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must hold an independent, clinical licensure in the mental health field - LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent. Combination of certification/licensure and experience to show high competency in recovery, trauma, and co-occurring disorder treatment. Strong working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records management and Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare setting. Experience with clinical documentation, compliance monitoring, quality assurance, or staff training. Experience conducting assessments and developing treatment recommendations. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations as required. Benefits:
